Capgemini Indian Execs gets promoted to Global Positions

Bangalore: Capgemini, provider of consulting, technology and outsourcing services announces the promotion of their three Indian executives to global positions. Salil Parekh gets appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Application Services North America, UK, Asia Pacific and global Financial Services, Aruna Jayanthi reserves the position of the new Chief Executive Officer of Capgemini India and Baru Rao gets the role of Chief Operating Officer of Application Services Europe. Earlier Salil Parekh was the CEO of Global Financial Services for Asia-Pacific and India offshore. Aruna Jayanthi was earlier the Global Delivery Officer who was responsible for Capgemini Outsourcing. Baru Rao was the CEO for India. Paul Hermelin, Global CEO Capgemini said, "India plays an integral role in our strategy and has become the biggest country of the Group in terms of headcount, and as a hub for innovation. We are bringing in a leader to India, who is the women executives in the Group. Her global experience will be a great asset to our Indian operations, as the organization aims to have 50 percent of its staff here." Capgemini has recently done some other promotions as well that includes Vincent Rutgers as Vice-president digital transformation, Frank Huiskes CTO outsourcing Benelux, Sander Van Der Heijden as Global Client Director Shell.
