NEW DELHI: Canada will increase cooperation with India in energy, biotechnology and nanotechnology, Canadian Trade Minister said. Canadian Trade Minister Jim Peterson said both the countries are also helping the World Trade Organization to form a new global trade treaty. Peterson who is in India on a three day said Canada is ready to help India to generate more nuclear power and will discuss the matter with the Government. ``We will be certainly looking at a number of issues, including nuclear (energy),'' he said. ``Our framework is one of safety,'' Peterson said. ``We have offered India to collaborate in terms of the safety aspect of its (nuclear) system, which was originally based on the Canadian concept,'' he said.
