California Software net falls

CHENNAI: California Software Company Ltd reported lower standalone net profit of $1.52 million on revenue of $1.7 million for quarter ended on September 30, 2005, compared to a net profit of $0.32 million on revenues of $1.43 million in the corresponding period last year.
The company said the net was down due to lower margin on account of acquisition and integration costs of companies acquired till April 2005, and higher employee costs of $1.08 million ($0.86 million), according to the company release.
California Software hopes to achieve group revenues of $23.86 million for the current financial 2006, the release added.
