British treasury secretary to attend G-20 meet

NEW DELHI: British Treasury Secretary Paul Boateng arrives here Wednesday on a five-day visit during which he will take part in a meeting of Group of 20 (G-20) countries and meet Indian officials. Finance ministers and central bank governors of the G-20 countries, comprising developed and emerging economies of the world, are meeting here on November 22-23 to discuss key policy challenges facing the global economy. Boateng, who will also visit Mumbai and Hyderabad, will attend a World Economic Forum-Confederation of Indian Industry's summit here.
