BANGALORE: Blue Star Infotech (BSI), the global provider of software solutions and IT consultancy, today announced that it would be investing in a new facility at Mumbai. Located at Hiranandani Gardens (Powai), this 33,000 sq feet facility with a capacity for 400 seats is expected to be operational by April 2005.

The new center will house the existing and new employees for product
development in the embedded and mobile technologies and application management projects. In addition, the company's software testing labs
would also be located at this center.

Speaking on the occasion, Suneel Advani, Chairman, Blue Star Infotech said, "Blue Star Infotech has always been committed to its employees and customers to provide them with world-class infrastructure. This new state-of-the-art center is testimony to our commitment, and yet another milestone for us and will ensure better service to our clients and meet their increasing requirements."

Blue Star was recently in news, as its former Managing Director Pramod Bhalla had stepped down in an unexpected manner.

This will be the fifth development center for Blue Star Infotech that
already has two centers each in Bangalore and Mumbai
