New Delhi: Bharti Teletech, manufacturers and distributors of telecom and allied products, Thursday said it has bagged a contract worth 350 million from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) to manufacture fixed line phones. Bharti Teletech will manufacture and supply over 900,000 caller line identification phones (CLIP) for the state-run telecom giant over a period of five months, a company statement said. The phones will be manufactured at the company's Ludhiana facility, where it has recently invested over 50 million to augment capacity. "This contract not only highlights the high quality of products offered by Beetel (part of Bharti) but also serves to further our association with BSNL," Bharti Teletech chief executive Sunil K. Goyal said.
