Bharti Airtel inks deal with Novatium
Chennai: Bharti Airtel, an integrated telecom service provider, has entered into a partnership with Novatium, a provider of computing services to expand the broadband market in India. Announcing the launch exclusively for Airtel broadband customers in Chennai, Bharti Airtel and Novatium have brought in a category defining introductory offer- The Airtel Net PC Plus. Vikas Singh, CMO-Telemedia Services, Bharti Airtel said, "This managed computing service adds to Airtel's existing portfolio of services that harness the power of cloud computing. The initiative will on one hand help individual, businesses users save on recurring costs and help spur broadband uptake by making user experience simpler and more affordable." The Airtel Net PC Plus provides Unique Active Desktop, a category first feature to enable customers to personalize their desktop with widgets of their choice. The Airtel Net PC Plus - powered by Novatium- brings many advantages like savings of up to 50 percent compared to a regular low cost PC, increasing the life of the machine. It can be used for both Internet access and computing applications. Free maintenance with automatic software upgrades (which otherwise can cost up to 10,000 a year). This ensures a virus and spam free system. The Airtel Net PC Plus comes with an in-built cash back offer of 4500 after 24 months of usage and one month buy-back guarantee especially for customers in Chennai - if unsatisfied with the product, the customers can return it within a month.
