Bangalore, the Indian City That Business Travelers Visit Most


The average spending on lodging is highest in a country like India with 31 percent, while the other APAC countries like Japan, Hong Kong, and Australia spent 23 percent, 25 percent and 14 percent respectively.

India stood last in the average entertainment spend, at 2.44 percent, the highest being Japan with 8.14 percent.
The report also reveals that corporate travelers spent about 93 percent more on subsidiary fees ($58 million) in 2012 than they did in the previous year which is $30 million.

The survey was conducted by Concur- an integrated travel and expense management company in its third annual global report on corporate travel and entertainment (T&E) spend. The spend data was carried out in nine countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia and India.
