Baidu organizes U.S. engineer's job fair in Silicon Valley

Shanghai: China's search engine Baidu is all set to hire software engineers from the U.S. to broaden its technological perspectives and uplift the global silhouette. A job fair would be organized by Baidu on July 10 in the Silicon Valley to employ 30 mid to senior level software engineers. This is an important move by Baidu as it plans to go beyond its domestic arena. It is also a sign of competition as other internet firms are investing in overseas project. Zheng Bin, Human Resource Director, Baidu, revealed that, "Baidu believes that talent is the key to our success as a company, and we go where ever the best talent can be found, whether here in China or in Silicon Valley," After Google's relocation in Hong Kong, Baidu is expected to win over half of Google China's search revenue which could amount to $330 million, a 50 percent raise in the 2009 revenue of $654.8 million. Baidu dominates with 60 percent of the internet market revenue and 75 percent of its traffic.Currently Baidu's share went up to 80 percent compared to the two percent downturn of Nasdaq. It earns 61 times more than that of Google's revenue.
