2. Division of Korea:

The division of Korea into South Korea and North Korea started during the Cold War in 1945. Since then, North Korea established a Communist state permanently and the south, a pro-Western state. The two countries are backed by two superpowers- The United States and the Soviet Union. The Korean Conflict which started before seven decades has caused several deaths and the country is still far from finding a solution to resolve things.

3. Kashmir Conflict:

The Kashmir conflict or the insurgency in Kashmir is a territorial dispute between the Government of India, Kashmiri insurgent groups and the Government of Pakistan over control of the Kashmir region.
Since the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947, an inter-state dispute over Kashmir has been prevailing between India and Pakistan. But, after 2002, an internal conflict between Kashmiri insurgents and the Government of India has constituted the main conflict and source of violence in the region. Many people as well as thousands of civilians lost their lives as they were targeted by the various armed groups during this insurgency war.
