Evry Cathedral, France:
Evry Cathedral (Cathedrale de la Resurrection d'Evry), a Roman Catholic cathedral in the new town of Evry in France was build in the year 1966. It is unique for its round main sanctuary which is finished with brick and topped with 24 linden trees, meant to symbolize life. The church was designed by Mario Botta Architetto. It is the only purpose-built cathedral in France of the 20th century. This cathedral surprises the visitors with its cylindrical shape, cut out at the summit on an oblique plane, and crowned with 24 silver linden trees, and with its material- equally inhabitual for religious architecture: 800,000 bricks.

The Chapel of the Holy Cross, Arizona:
The Chapel of the Holy Cross also known as ‘Beverly Hills of the Rocks’ is a Roman Catholic chapel constructed into the foothill of Sedona, Arizona. It is run by the Diocese of Phoenix, as a part of St. John Vianney Parish in Sedona. It was inspired and commissioned by local rancher and sculptor Marguerite Brunswig Staude. The Church was designed by Anshen and Allen. In the year 2007, Arizonans voted the Chapel to be one of the Seven Man-Made Wonders of Arizona, and it is also the site of one of the so-called Sedona vortices.
