"The Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Communication would be set up as the first unit of this ambitious project", Ambani said, addressing the Global Investors Meet organised by the Madhya Pradesh government here. Disclosing that his group is willing to play a significant role in energy, infrastructure and education sectors in Madhya Pradesh, Ambani said that concrete initiatives would be taken to make Madhya Pradesh the energy centre of India. A total of 525 delegates, including 125 from abroad, attending the meet were assured by state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan that they would not repent setting up industries here as infrastructure of global standards would be developed by his government by exploiting the immense natural and mineral wealth available in the state. Chauhan said rules, procedures and laws would also be suitably amended and fine-tuned to suit investors and industrialists. He urged them to make maximum possible investment in the state. Hoping that the summit would prove to be a milestone in the industrial development of the state, Chauhan said memoranda of understanding (MoUs) signed here would be implemented in right earnest. The MoUs signed at the Khajuraho Investors' Meet in February this year have already started taking shape, he added.
