Angels lift Nexage funding to $2.5 Mn

Fremont: Devkumar Gandhi founded Nexage, a California based developer of mobile video, social networking and advertising solutions for media companies, content providers and carriers has raised another $500,000 from angel investors bringing its total funding to $2.5 million. The Nexage platform inserts text, banner, and video advertisements (ads) for mobile video and live TV programming. The company has incorporated with mobile advertisement networks such as Millennial Media, AOL's Third Screen Media, Nokia Ad Services, Admob, and various other video Ad providers. The new PhoneCast Pro 2.0 developed by Nexage offers extensive new features that bring the full scope of Internet social networking to the mobile web and ensure high monetization rates for media companies through its Ad network optimization engine. The PhoneCast platform provides automatic content ingestion, encoding, management, ad network integration, publishing, and delivery of mobile video content through streaming and download.
