Amazon to set up center in Chennai

BANGALORE: In order to manage technology aspects of the web site features at the location, Amazon.com is to open its second India facility at Chennai.

Initially the company is planning to hire people to generate ideas, analysis and technical design. The company said in a statement that they are looking for ‘exceptional computer scientists,’ in its fourth Amazon.com international development center.

At present the company has centers in Edinburgh, Scotland; Cape Town, South Africa; and Bangalore.
