Alok Batra's CXO Systems raises $7-M 2nd round

WALTHAM: Alok Batra co-founded CXO Systems, a provider of "business visibility" software for CXOs, has raised a $7 million second round led by Ironside Ventures and Cisco Systems. Existing investors GrandBanks Capital and Kodiak Venture Partners also participated. CXO Systems software enables companies to gain greater visibility into key performance indicators in areas like outsourcing, research, risk and business operations. The company claims that its patent-pending Web Services agent based technology enables data from any data source to be routed and made sense of. CXO Systems has a development center in Pune, India. Alok Batra, CXO Systems’ CTO, was earlier Co-Founder & CTO of Dashboard Systems Inc. (now part of CXO Systems). Prior to Dashboard, he was the Co-Founder & CTO of Cofix. Batra has earlier worked with Fujitsu, Digital Tools and Godrej. Batra is a graduate of IIT. CXO Systems's management team also includes Mani Manickam (Chief Product Architect) and Sushil Prabhu (Senior VP-Professional Services)
