Alcatel-Lucent partners 'Unite to Ignite' at Rendezvous 2008

Panaji: In an attempt to motivate all Alcatel-Lucent business partners to work together to achieve the organization's goals to become India's leading provider of 'Network & Communication solutions', Alcatel-Lucent recently held its three-day annual enterprise partners' meet in Goa named 'The Alcatel ?Lucent Partners Rendezvous 2008' with a theme, 'Unite to Ignite'. The rendezvous witnessed an overwhelming participation from over 35 business partners with over 120 attendees and 30 Alcatel-Lucent worldwide and Indian management executives including Vivek Mohan, CEO Alcatel-Lucent, India. The training sessions, included SME, LME and Pre-Sales training; aimed at providing the partners with thorough knowledge of the Alcatel-Lucent products and services so as to keep them abreast of the latest technology and products being developed by Alcatel Lucent for meeting the ever-changing consumer demands. Keynote address of the meet was delivered by Mathew Oommen ? President ? Technology, Reliance Infocomm. Alcatel-Lucent's enterprise business in India has come a long way in the past year and a half. And a lot of this has been done through a heavy expansion of strategic alliances and partners. The team currently have, as channel partners, two master distributors for the SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) segment, over 30 resellers, three system integration partners namely Orange, ABS India and HCL Limited and strategic alliances such as BT, P, IBM and Accenture This will help the enterprise business expand into all segments of business from small to large including Industry and Public sectors (IPS).
