She has achieved a lot of milestones in the industry, as she was the first Indian actress to be a jury member at the Cannes Film Festival in 2003 and also the first Indian actress to be waxed in Madame Tussauds.
It's not only her movies that make her so prestigious, but she is the global brand ambassador of L'Oreal. She graced the covers of India Today and the prestigious TIME Magazine. Moreover the Time Magazine has also listed her on their list of the "100 Most Influential People in the World Today". She was not limited herself with acting but was also engaged with many social welfare activities. Aishwarya was the brand ambassador for the Eye Bank Association of India's nationwide campaign to promote eye donation in India.
But she also had to face many ups and down in her life and she also had to go through her own share of downfall because of her links up. She grabbed everyone's attention for her link up with super star Salman Khan. But they broke up after two years of relationship.
