Aircel and Airtel to launch iPhone4 in India

Bangalore: Aircel, the 3G service provider, has announced that it will launch the iPhone4 in India on 27 May. Bharti Airtel has also announced the same but they have not mentioned clearly about the date. Aircel will charge 34, 500 for iPhone 4 with 16 GB capacity and 40,900 for 32 GB capacity. For the Aircel postpaid customers, they can gain up to 100 percent of the value of the iPhone 4 as talktime and data spread over a time period of 24 months. There is also an offer called Money back Plan, under that it offers 50 percent of the value of the phone. However, Premium Money Back plan offers up to 100 percent money back over a two year period. These plans are available for both 16 and 32 GB iPhone. Users will get the money back plan in the form of talktime package discount ranging from 720 to 1710 as per the plan selected. iPhone4 is the latest version of Apple iPhone and it comes with 3.5 inch screen with 640 X 960 pixel resolution. The operating system of the phone is iOS 4 and it offers features like multitasking, spell check, folder and iBooks. The phone also has a 5MP camera with LED flash and a second VGA camera for video calling. iPhone has WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI and GPS connectivity. The device gives seven hours of 3G talk time, six hours of 3G browsing, 10 hours of WiFi browsing, 10 hours of video and 40 hours of music playback.
