Afila eyes 200% growth in revenue

BANGALORE: In order to cater the exponential growth of the communications, networking and telecom company, Afila Inc, a communications testing company has announced its roadmap. The company eyes its revenue to grow over 200 percent in the next three years. Besides, Afila is also planning to double its headcount in India over the next 12 months. Currently the company has total staff of 148 people. The company invests over $2 million on IP and Test labs. The communication industry is growing in today’s world with company continuing to roll out products with next generation technology edge to users, Afila’s Chief Executive Officer and founder Amar Mutt said. “We are ready to expand our testing lab and work force to tap into this opportunity and hope to capture bigger slice of the market by our aggressive marketing campaigns,” he added. In the next 18 months time the company is planning to invest about $3 to 4 million in the infrastructure and test labs for leading edge technologies including Metro Ethernet, VoIP, security, triple play and testing for WiMax. According to a report by Frost & Sullivan in 2005, the network testing market revenues was set to grow at an annual rate of 6.8 percent from $731.8 million in 2004 to $1.2 billion by 2011.
