Mumbai: Adlabs Films , belonging to the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (R-ADAG), logged an overall revenue increase of 49 percent, taking its income to 2.17 billion, in the quarter ended September 30 this year, the company said.

Adlabs' revenue from the cinema division grew 119 percent to 890 million (89 crore), the company said in a statement.

Its film processing and services division recorded a 75 percent growth, earning revenues of 380 million, while the film production and distribution fetched 700 million.

Significantly, from a mere 10 million in the corresponding period last year, the company's revenues from the television content business increased to 140 million.
