Acer Iconia touch book review

Bangalore: Acer Iconia touchbook can very well fit into the category of executive laptops as it is much higher in price and can only be afforded by the rich executive class. The device is equipped with multiple features: two 14-inch touchscreen displays - both have a resolution of 1366 x 768 with 10-finger multi-touch functionality and scratch resistant Gorilla Glass. The dual touch screens do not make it look like a typical laptop. Both displays are accurate and responsive. The sleek looking device has a matte metal finish on the top lid. One of the negative aspects of the device would be the bottom cover of the device which is just fixed with two locks on either side making it easy for the fall apart. There is also a possibility of dust particles penetrating inside. Another negative aspect of the touch book is that, it is too heavy as it weighs around 2.8 kg, and this way it is not easily portable. Although the full HD videos in this device runs smoothly there is a problem with the gaming as it is limited to the basic counter strike CZ graphic. The touchbook is having a weak battery life as it is able to provide only 2 hours of battery backup. The innovative device is having a price tag of 70,000. With such a high price the touchbook is considered to be more as a luxury or a style statement of the wealthy class than a necessity of the ordinary middle class.
