Accenture opens new R&D lab

BANGALORE: Accenture has opened a new R&D lab in Bangalore. This is the fourth such lab for the company and joins sites in the Palo Alto, and Chicago, U.S. Sophia Antipolis in France. The India labs will focus on research and development in systems integration and software engineering that includes service-oriented and distributed software architectures, collaborative technologies and processes, automated quality management for software development, data quality management and data services, testing theory and practice for software and systems and large-scale distributed workforce management techniques. The Bangalore lab will work on over 2,000 latest software development projects in Accenture. Besides this will will be Accenture's Experimental Software Environment (ESE), giving researchers experience to work on new technologies.
