Sanjay Kumar, Computer Associates
Sanjay Kumar, who joined Computer Associates as an employee in 1987, subsequently became the chairman and CEO of the company in 2000. Kumar resigned from both his posts at the company, now CA Technologies, in April 2004 after he was found guilty of practices including the securities fraud and accounting fraud where income in one quarter is supplemented with revenue from the next in order to meet Wall Street expectations. The $2.2 billion fraud case had won him a 12 year imprisonment and a fine of $8 million. He is currently serving his 12 years in Federal prison, New Jersey.
