Launched even before Google wallet during the year 2010 by Jack Dorsey, has a tag line that makes you do what it says “Leave your wallet at home.” It got the name from its small device which was in the shape as a square that can really make you keep your wallet home.

This ‘square’ allows users to accept credit cards through their mobile phones, either by swiping the card on the Square device or by manually entering the details on the phone.

 It works! Leave your wallet home but make sure you “Square” the payment minute.
