Startup Village got the fastest Internet connection in the country last week, at 1 Gbps. It is now only the second place in the world, after Kansas City in US, to experience this ultra-fast connectivity. Startup Village Chairman, Sanjay Vijayakumar, said on this development, “We are not behind Silicon Valley. Our youngsters also are privy to the best available connectivity.”

With a simple motto: ‘Think big, start small and scale up fast’, Startup Village already supports eight companies that employ 68 people in the physical incubation category; besides, it supports 138 companies in the virtual category. In an internet world, where one needs to execute projects at internet speed, village authorities are processing 10-20 applications a week.
