Tami Reller is executive vice president of Microsoft’s Marketing group, responsible for marketing to consumers and businesses globally. Since joining Microsoft in 2001, Reller has held several positions within the company. Most recently, she was both chief marketing officer and chief financial officer for the Windows division.
She joined Microsoft in 2001 as part of the acquisition of Great Plains Software, where she served as CFO.

Steven Jay Sinofsky was considered as the next CEO of Microsoft at the time of Bill Gates retirement.
He is a former President of the Windows Division at Microsoft from July 2009 through his departure on November 12, 2012. He has been responsible for the development and marketing of Windows, Internet Explorer; as well as online services such as Outlook.com and SkyDrive.
He cleared up the mess created by Windows Vista and launched Windows 7 on time. According to Business Insider, Sinofsky is an “extremely polarizing figure, Stubborn, Secretive and Dictatorial, best known for delivering exactly what he promises, and always on time.”
Steven Sinofsky has joined the prominent Silicon Valley venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz as a part-time "board partner."
However his reputation has taken a hit with the dismal sales of the Surface tablet he launched and the lukewarm reception of Windows 8.
