‘Money Power’ to be monitor:  Expenditure Observers from Central Government Services will be appointed to monitor on election expenditure of the candidates and to ensure that no bribe is offered to the electors during the entire election process for exercise of their franchise.

The complete details of all observers will be publicized in local newspapers so that the public can quickly approach them for any grievance redressal. On top of this, more number of policemen shall be required to be posted in different states, particularly where the disturbance is strongly anticipated. Also, all major election campaign and events are video graphed and complaints of electoral malpractices are promptly attended. The guidelines that followed Supreme Court directions in this regard have now been made part of the Model Code.
