5. Anand Anandalingam - Robert H Smith School of Business

Anand Anandalingam is the Dean of Robert H Smith School of Business, University of Maryland from August 2008, and would finish his five-year term this 2013. Anand had served for 15 years at the University Pennsylvania, where he was the professor at National Center Professor of Resource and Technology Management, handling both the engineering and Wharton school.

He did his BA and MA from Cambridge University and had got his MS and PhD from Harvard University. He started off his career as a asst professor at University of Virginia.

6. S Shankar Sastry - Univeristy of California, Berkeley

S Shankar Sastry is the Dean of Engineering at Univeristy of California, Berkeley. And previously to this he was the director to IT Office at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). He was also the chair for the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS) at UC Berkeley from January 2001 to June 2004

He got his bachelor’s degree in technology from IIT, Mumbai in 1977, and had gone further to do his masters and PhD from University of California, Berkeley.
