1. Soumitra Dutta – Ivy League Cornell University

Soumitra Dutta is the current Dean for the Ivy League Cornell University, with effect from 2012, and he would be serving a five-year term. Prior to this he was the Roland Berger Chaired Professor of Business and Technology and also was the Founder and the Director of eLab INSEAD, which he had initially joined in 1989.

Dutta is from Delhi, India and also did his B.Tech from IIT Delhi and went further to get his PhD in Computer Science and also Masters in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley.

2. Nitin Nohria - Harvard Business School

Nitin Nohria is the Dean for Harvard Business School from July 2010, and prior to this Nohria was the Richard P Chapman Professor of business administration at Harvard Business School itself. Nohria is also serving as a co-chair for the Harvard Business School (HBS) Leadership Initiative. Previously Nohria had served as a senior associate dean for the development of faculty and also as the chair for the organizational behavior unit.

Back in 1988, he had joined Harvard Business School (HBS) as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 1993. Nitin Nohria is from Delhi and had completed his B.Tech in chemical engineering from IIT Mumbai in 1984.
