Islamabad, Pakistan: Capital city of Pakistan, Islamabad, with a population of around 1 million people, is a densely populated area. This city is also one of the earthquake prone cities in the world. In the year 2005, it made a record of the highest ever earthquake scale of 7.6 in this region.

At that time, more than 79,000 people were killed and around 100,000 were severely injured. Also, thousands of people were killed by mudslides and building collapses. If such calamity strikes again in Islamabad, it would kill an estimated 12,500 people.
