7.The London Hammer
page7
In June 1936, Max Hahn and his wife Emma discovered a unique artifact. They found an unusual piece of wood protruding from a rock concretion. When their son broke the rock in 1947, it uncovered an iron hammer with a wooden handle. The Hammer was six inches (15.24cm) long with one inch diameter. The hammer was an amalgam of iron (96.6 percent), chlorine (2.6 percent) and sulphur (0.74 percent). This hammer has not rusted since its discovery over sixty years ago. This is certainly a unique blend of metallurgy which some claim be a lost technology of our ancestors.
