Tata Motors is likely to launch its next generation Safari named as 'Storme' in May this year. It launch has already been postponed as the home grown Tata Motors is performing various tests before Storme really storms the Indian roads. Even though, the buzz around tells that it will be priced between 800, 000 and 1, 100,000. So it remains to be observed how well it fares in comparison to 2011's super hit Mahindra XUV 500. Low ratio 4x4 drive will be an obvious benefit to undercut XUV 500.

Chevrolet Enjoy

Chevrolet Enjoy is Innova’s another rival that will basically target the urban audience in India. General Motors of late came up with their 2012 Chevrolet Tavera; still, this will target only rural and semi-urban customers along with fleet owners. Chevrolet Enjoy will start off with a price of 650, 000 will boast of 7-seat arrangement. The MPV based on Chinese Wuling CN-100 will hit the roads around mid-2012.
