4. Chevrolet Full Size Pick-up

Total Thefts: 23,745

Chevrolet full size pick-up trucks from General Motors have a new line added to it called Chevrolet Silverado. These pick-up vehicles have been a target for thieves and in 2012 about 23,745 of these trucks were reported missing or stolen. The frequently stolen model years are 1992-1997, 1999-2001, 2003-2004, 2007.

5. Toyota Camry

Total Thefts: 16,251

Camry has been the best-selling passenger car in North America as of 2012. However, a total theft of 16,251 cars has been reported missing in 2012. The model years that were most frequently stolen are 1989-1991. Camry from Toyota originated in January 1980 and is a four door sedan similar to the Toyota Celica coupe and liftback. The car has a very good market and sales in Australia and number of Asian markets but is not very successful in its home market.
