7 Biggest Flaws of Virtualization

2. Intensified Physical Breakdown:
Employing virtualization means running multiple servers on a single physical host. This condition can lead to a possibility that the RAID controller of that host dysfunctions and deletes all the data that was stored in the hard disk. This will result in loss of data from all the servers that were running in that host.
The only way you can overstep such a failure is by proper planning which includes clustering, creating a back up with Continuous Data Protection etc.

3. Downgraded Performance:
Implementing virtualization beckons for additional hardware resources, the configuration of which is difficult to be estimated beforehand. Most of the applications exhibit different requirements when virtualized and that makes it difficult to estimate the configuration that the host must have.
The only solution is to check the applications individually before making them virtualized but again, this will consume a lot of time and effort on the team’s side.
