Jackie Shroff started his Bollywood journey with Dev Anand directed movie ‘Swami Dada.’ However, he got his overnight fame from the movie ‘Hero’ directed by Subhash Gahi back in the year 1983. Soon after the movie ‘hero’ he caught all the attention in the industry and became popular with his character name called ‘Jackie Dada.’ Even Shroff has performed opposite some of the leading actors like Shammi Kapoor, Sanjeev Kumar and Amrish Puri to name a few. Besides, he has offered some brilliant movies in late eighties and nineties which includes Yudh, Andar Baahar, Karma, Ram Lakhan, Parinda, 1942 A Love Story and so on.  As the time passed by his presence in b-town faded.
