6 Successful Companies with Bad Reputations

6. Goldman Sachs

In 1869, Goldman Sachs was started as a American investment bank company that engages in global investment banking, securities, investment management, and other financial services primarily with institutional clients.

It is considered that Goldman Sachs is the most hated company in America mainly because the bank was involved in selling many of the financial instruments, so that it would help in managing the financial crisis that took place in 2008.

Apart from that, the U.S government also said that the bank was involved in a criminal tax fraud case at Credit Suisse.

Today eminent and loyal banks are surviving after passing out crises in the past. This doesn’t mean that they don’t have any challenges. They are in a pressure to constantly keep up the reputation they have been maintaining from decades.

Through this, it is very clear that the reputations are more important than the occasional scandal and the public’s impression of good conduct.
