Renault A-Entry: The Renault India too is gearing up to bring the A-Entry after its great sales of the Pulse hatchback. The A-Entry hatchback which is currently under development in the Renault-Nissan Technical Center at Chennai, India and it will spot similar concept like the Datsun Redi-Go. The A-Entry is from the CMF architecture, an acronym for common module family, entails parts and platform sharing amongst a range of cars wearing Renault, Nissan, Dacia and Datsun badges.  The French car maker has planned to price it aggressively taking the other competitors into mind. The A-Entry will initially be aimed at the Indian car market, and then could be exported to emerging markets. Apart from pricing Renault India will have to expand its dealership and after sales networks if it intends to make up to the list of market leaders in the entry-level hatchback segment.

Maruti Celerio: The Maruti Suzuki Celerio is the Indo-japanese automaker's latest small segment entry level car lauchched in the Maruti’s car lineup. It was spotted through a variety of spy shots from various locations across Europe and India before being showcased by the automaker as the A: Wind concept car at the auto show in the end of 2013. The auto maker came out with a revolutionary automatic transmission designed by Magneti Marelli and its well accepted by the Indian audience. The Celerio now has 22,000-plus bookings in its name with a 6-month waiting period and more than 50 percent of the car enthusiasts opting for the AMT version.
