Manan Trivedi

Manan Trivedi is contesting from Pennsylvania’s Sixth Congressional District, for the second consecutive time. He was the Democratic nominee in 2010 congressional election.

Apart from being a promising personality in the field of politics, Trivedi is a physician who served as a battalion surgeon with the US Marine Corps in the Iraq war. Previously, before contesting for the Congress, he also worked as a health care advisor to the Obama for America campaign.

Upendra Chivukula

Upendra Chivukula is a Democratic Party politician, who is contesting for the 7th Congressional Seat from New Jersey. He has served in the New Jersey General Assembly since 2002, where he represents the 17th Legislative District.

Chivukula became the first Indian American elected to the New Jersey General Assembly and the fourth Indian-American in the United States to be elected to state office, in the year 2001. He serves in the Assembly on the Telecommunications and Utilities Committee (as Chair) and the Appropriations Committee.
