Founded in 2011 by Sankalp Agrawal and Sanchit Garg
An ecommerce platform which helps travellers book personalized trips at the finest prices by connecting them to travel agents local to the destination. They started with a business model that links customers with travel agents who offer the best deals. These are value-added deals customised to specific needs of the traveller. Each request by a customer goes to at least three travel agents with operations in the area that is the client's destination. The agents compete among themselves to provide the best experience and price to the sightseer. The services are free for travellers who also get quotes from multiple agents. The start-up now has tie-ups with 150+ travel agents in India and overseas, including Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia and Egypt.
According to IAMAI, of the Rs 14,953 crores online travel market, domestic air travel contributes 63% followed by Railway tickets contributing 28% while others such as international air travel (Rs 548 crores), hotel bookings (Rs 308 crores), bus tickets (Rs 294 crores), tour packages (Rs 86 crores) and travel insurance (Rs 52 crores) contribute the remaining 9%.
