Old Tavern comes under the category of whisky and is produced by a Bangalore based company called United Spirits. Drinks that come under the category of whisky, brandy and rum are also sold by United Spirits to around 37 countries. About 11.6 million cases were shipped in year 2012.

11. Bacardi

Bacardi comes under the category of Rum and it is produced by a Bermuda based company called Bacardi. Bacardi was awarded about 550 awards and hence, is known as the world’s most awarded rum. About 19.8 million cases were shipped last year.

12. Tanduay

Tanduay comes under the category of rum and is produced by the Tanduay distillers, a Philippines based company. This company is considered as the oldest makers of rum. About 19.6 million of cases were shipped last year.

13. Original Choice

Original Choice comes under the category of whisky and is produced by a Bangalore based company called John Distilleries. They also manufacture other drinks such as brandy, wines, single malt whisky etc. Original Choice was one of the highest selling brands in Karnataka in the year 2005 where they sold out around 2cases per month. About 10.9 million cases were shipped last year.
