Putting Company before its People
A startup is nothing but a team of people working together to attain the same goal. This should, at no circumstances be forgotten. 'No matter what happens to the people involved, the show must go on,' is not a good attitude when it comes to startups. The company will not be there without the people involved. So if you take care of your employees they will take care of you. In a startup environment this is important. Let your employees know that they are your most prized possession, and you value their work greatly to feel ownership about the company. Loyalty cannot be bought with money and once your employees have that, your company will gain an unprecedented momentum in growth.
