There have been many instances where people surrender to death as they cannot be provided medical aid at the proper time due to the geographical location or hostile terrain. Matternet, a Palo Alto, California, U.S. based startup firm is the one venturing into this unexplored field. The 3 feet long drone developed by the team is designed to carry vaccines and other medical cares. The drone is controlled by routers and is unmanned. Matternet aim is to develop drones that can carry even heavier weights as the startup finds a great requirement to meet the lack of medication for people in inaccessible locations.
