Myth#5 Social media gets immediate results:
This is hilarious! No wonder there are profile pages of all celebrities and businessmen who open media accounts and do campaigns when they have something new to launch or to promote their product. This is not a bad idea. This really worked out for celebrities like Aamir Khan and the director Madhur Bhandarkar. But this is possible only on Facebook and Twitter whereas Blogs and forums would have been a great failure. It is an idealistic belief and a fool's task to get on. This doesn't work for all. If you expect social media sites to provide you with instant results, you are using the wrong tool.
