4. Adidas

While thinking about any sports, one can hardly stop thinking about ‘Adidas’. Over the years, Adidas has become one of the prominent names in the sports goods. Its quality and comfort zones are the main reason; it has millions of lovers around the globe.

Adidas came into existence in the early 90s when Adi Dassler, a baker by profession, crafted a pair of bedroom slippers out of old tires, army tents and helmets. After the pair of slippers, he started focusing on shoes.

Dassler’s love towards sport persuaded him to craft sports shoes for football and gymnastics. Soon, his shoes started getting popularity and this took him to Germany where he set up his first factory.

This was not enough for Dassler as he wanted his shoes to reach every corner of the globe. This made him to approach the Olympics.

During the 1928 Olympics, the German team was seen wearing Adidas’ shoes. This boosted up the fondness of Adidas shoes rapidly. In the nest Olympics, most of the athletes were seen wearing Adidas shoes and coincidently, all the athletes wearing Adidas shoes won medals. This took Adidas shoes to the peak of success.

Adidas’ quality, comfort, reliability and price have made it one of the global shoe brands across the world.
