Vineet Nayar is responsible for building the company’s 'Employees First, Customers Second' (EFCS) strategy. This helped HCL transform its business and helped create transparency within the organization. 

In1993 he founded Comnet, a Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM) industry, which grew into a $1 billion business in Technology Management business.

After Nayar took over the leadership, HCL technologies was recognized as the “Best Employer” in India and Asia by Hewitt Associates, one of “Britain’s Top Employers” by the CRF Institute.

Apart from that, he has also served as Governor of ICT, member of the Global Advisory Board of Women Leader's and Gender Parity Program as well as a Community Partner of the Forum of Young Global Leaders at the World Economic Forum.

Fortune Magazine also chose Nayar for its first ever global “Executive Dream Team” 2012.  Adding to this, he was also included under the “Thinkers 50 List” which is a list of world’s 50 business thinkers.
