5 Hot Startups That Ruled CES 2014

#5 3Doodler

The startup succeeded to take a giant leap with their 3D printing pen that can be used to create 3D objects. With no sophisticated technology or instrumentation, the 3Doodler squeezes out hot plastic through its nozzle that dries up just in matter of seconds to stand tall as tough and rigid structure. The device can be used by trained and untrained hands for construction design or for other art works. 3Doodler will be launched initially in UK and then world-wide.

3Doodler co-founder Daniel Cowen said that the device is the inception of a futuristic technology and has lot more to do than fun. Educational institutions will benefit the most with the technology as it makes explaining concepts in construction easy to understand. “We’ve had a couple of enquiries from the medical industry for augmenting prosthetics, and another guy we met at a conference in Boston wanted to use this for augmenting implants. We want to get the product into their hands now and let them try it out.” Added Cowen.
