Ashok Vemuri started his career by working in Bank of America and Deutsche Bank. Later on, he joined Infosys and established a Financial Services and Insurance business, which became one of the largest business units within Infosys.

After few years, he joined iGate and is currently serving as the CEO of iGate. Vemuri is mostly known for his skills in global sourcing and technology-led transformation.

In 2008, he was raked as India’s Hottest Young Executives. Recently, Vemuri was recognized as one of the Outstanding Asian Americans in Business by Asian American Business Center.

Off late, he also served as the Member of the Board of Infosys, Head of Americas and Global Head of Manufacturing and Engineering Services.
