5 Incredible Apple Products Designed By Jobs We Still Haven't Seen

#4 iYacht

Steve Jobs imagination did not limit to the geek gadgets which defined exquisite design and performance, and it may seem weird if Jobs wanted to build a super yacht, but it’s true. It is designed by none other than legendary French designer Philipe Starck.

It is designed by Walter Isaacson, Jobs’ biographer as “sleek and minimalistic” and uses a special glass design by the chief engineer of Apple’s retail stores.

Stark has confirmed that the project is still likely to reach completion, and he is touch with Jobs’ widow Laurene Powell Jobs, whenever he visits California. “It’s not a project with Apple. It’s a private project that began with Steve Jobs and that has been taken over by his wife,” a spokeswoman for Starck told The Wall Street Journal

The inspiration for iYacht is apparently conceived when Jobs was on cruise from Italy to Turkey, which he described as his “best vacation”. The design is said to be repeatedly changed to accommodate tiniest details, which emulates Jobs’ niche for perfection, something which is common with other Apple products

Isaacson says that Steve nearly cancelled the project in 2009, while battling with pancreatic cancer,”I didn’t think I would be alive when it got done,” he told Isaacson. “But that made me so sad, and I decided that working on the design was fun to do, and maybe I have a shot at being alive when it’s done.”

When iYacht final sails the seas, it would be tribute to Jobs.
