2. Google+

According to reports, Google's social network, Google+ had 250 million users as of June 2012, 150 million monthly users, and 75 million daily active users. The most notable feature of Google+ is its Circles capability, where users can group contacts in categories, thereby separating their business and personal conversations. Also the Hangouts feature is liked by many. Clean, free from ads interface and integration with Google's overall platform, helped it to score more than Facebook. Google+ has benefited from an appealing mobile app and integration with popular Google services like Search, YouTube, and Gmail.

3. Pinterest

Like LinkedIn, Pinterest is a much more focused social network than Facebook. With 11 million users and growing, Pinterest is actually an online visual bulletin board, where users can post images of things they like, projects they've completed things they want. Pinterest users' boards mainly focus on food, fashion, home decor, and hobbies - things that usually visually appealing.  Facebook is reportedly working on a Want button, in the lines of Pinterest’s Pinit.
