4 Biggest Mistakes By World's Most Powerful Entrepreneurs

#1 Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg, the genius who took the program into reality, thus founded Facebook in 2004. Facebook, became a platform for people to communicate and keep them connected always no matter wherever they reside.

Incident:

Zuckerberg is a strong-minded individual and tends to be a bit arrogant. A small controversy arose when he had posted a status, which says, “a living being has to die for you to eat meat” on his personal Facebook page in May 2011. Animal lovers found it offensive which marred his PR career.

Besides, Zuckerberg stumbled over his words and began sweating profusely at the D8 conference in 2010 that Forbes wrote a story about it called ‘Great Perspirations’. He was also fictionalized as ruthless and cocky in the 2010 film The Social Network which is not the exact qualities you want to associate with the face of your company.

What You Can Learn:

Zuckerberg has been gaining on PR. But if he had stayed in the shadows and be “Steve Jobs type” in the spotlight, Facebook would have had a clearer message and would have been a better brand. The site would have been more trusted and cooler.

Hence, if your company grows, keep in mind that you may not always be the best person for the job. Promote your company with the strengths you possess.
